Hello! Thank you for your interest in my blog! I love my new feet! I am more than happy answering your questions!

1.I was put to sleep during this surgery because it is a big procedure so I did not feel anything.
2. Again, I was put to sleep so I did not feel anything!
3. When the pins were taken out, all i felt was a lot of pressure. rating 10 highest pain and 0 no pain i would rate this a 5. It was just very scary and I didn't look!
4. Recovery did not hurt as much as I thought. I would rate it a 3 or 4, nights in the beginning hurt the most just because the numbing was going away.

I hope I helped! Start a blog if you go through with this surgery, I would be excited to read about it! Have a wonderful day! =)

Hey Geena! thank you so much for your blog! I just wanted to ask you a question about the recovery time. My doc advised me to do each surgery at least a week apart but I guess its because Im having more work than you, bunion removal as well as 3 toes being shortened and both procedures on both feet. I just wanted to know if you suggested that I do them 1 wk apart, 2 wks apart or 3 weeks as far as the pain, walking, and healing time are concerned. I dont want to have one nice foot and one ugly foot nor do I want to spend all summer long recovering. Please let me know what you think. Also I just started my blog surgery is next week for me! I cant wait, your feet are so pretty! Im so happy for you and I hope I turn out happy too!

Hey UFanonymous!

Thank you so much for reading my blog!Ill do my best to answer your questions! I wanted everything done at one time. It's up to you, if the doctor says have the procedures done a week apart, then you should. My doctor didn't give me the option he told me he wanted to get everything done at once. As far as the pain and walking, Because I got everything done at one time, everything was healing at the same time. in my opinion, if you decide to have the surgeries 3 weeks apart, then it will take longer for you to recover fully on both feet. I hope I helped! And i wish you the best of luck with your surgery! Keep in touch !

Hi Geena, thanks for the blog. I found it very useful. I'm planning on getting toe shortening surgery for my two big toes in the UK but i am very sure that the cost will be really expensive.
I was just wondering how much your whole procedure cost becuase i'm thinking about maybe going to the States to have it done. Thanks. Melissa.

Hello Gina,
Just wanted to thankyou for posting this useful blog, I have found it more useful that any other information I found on the internet.
I am currently recovering from having two toes shortened, it has been reassuring to see your procedure went so well. I hope to make a full recovery like yourself.

Good luck and thanks again

Melissa-
I’m excited you are planning on getting this procedure. I do not recall how much my entire procedure cost but I can try to find out and get back to you. Also remember I did get my bunion fixed so that might add some extra costs.
